We came home found that sister Pam's health was deteriorating. She has a neurological problem called Progressive Supernuclear Palsy of the brain. It began, as we are now aware about 5 years ago, and has been progressive. Falls, loss of ability to speak in complete sentences - eyesight problems.
Harry and I went to mountains for 2 days to see the fall leaves. When we came home Pam was in hospital - stayed 2 weeks and went home. Back in a week later with a kidney infection - home for a week then had a fall and broke her good arm - been in hospital a week now. Has to have all food pureed as she cannot swallow liquid or solid food. Someone has to feed her.
