Steve [Bennett, oldest child of Pammie] called tonight to say his mother has pneumonia. Treating it with antibiotics. If that doesn't help we will know that it is part of her problem.
I will go to Chester tomorrow to see her.
It hurt to see the youngest one of us so ill. We lost Arthur at age 24 in war. Pam is 69 and has been a caring - giving person [,] like our Mother. She has been a Blessing. I pray she will not suffer too much.
